WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
RESUME WRITING: As an executive resume writer and LinkedIn profile writer specializing in Silicon Valley and high tech, I craft resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles that wow recruiters and hiring managers. I work with professionals through Fortune 100/500 executives. You may read about my proven job search process here.
More than 1,000 people have trusted me with their careers.
COACHING: Applying a strengths-based and goal-oriented approach, I use my Zone of Genius to help you achieve success and happiness (however you may define them). While most people hire me as a career coach, interview coach, or job search coach, others hire me because they are looking for a life coach (often, a gay life coach or LGBT+ life coach), business coach, or help identifying and owning their fabulousness. You may read about my coaching work here.
SPEAKING: I am an award-winning professional speaker. I present and motivate people on the topics of professional development, mental health, and/or social justice. I do keynotes, panels, workshops, trainings, and retreats. You may read more about that here.
You’ll often find me with a soy, sugar-free vanilla latte in hand.
ARE THERE ANY SERVICES YOU DO NOT OFFER?
I work for you (the job seeker) to help you find a job.
I’m not a recruiter and do not offer headhunting, job placement, or resume distribution services.
I’m not a therapist and do not offer mental health services.
I do not craft CVs (this includes technical, academic, or medical CVs). Based on industry best practices, I limit resumes to three pages MAX.
I do not craft resumes for government positions.
WHAT SETS YOUR SERVICES APART?
I’m a proven career expert. I’ve been featured in Forbes, Fast Company, The Ladders, and The Muse, among dozens of other leading publications.
I know the industry. I’m continually engaging with recruiters and hiring managers. I’ve spoken 1:1 with recruiters at nearly every Fortune 100/500 company.
I’m trusted by my peers. I’m one of few millennials to be an official member of the Forbes Coaches Council, an invite-only community of top business, leadership, executive, and career coaches. I’m also a member of the Gay Coaches Alliance and National Resume Writer’s Alliance, an Associate with Career Thought Leaders, and a Stability Leader with the Stability Network.
I spend an average of 10+ hours on each resume project. This includes initial consultation, in-depth branding strategy, extensive industry research, document writing and formatting, and two rounds of revisions.
I do not outsource ANY of your materials. Unlike many resume writing mills that subcontract your documents to an inexperienced writer, you partner with only me from start to finish on your project. No exceptions.
I’m here for you. I do not write your resume and then leave you out to dry. All packages include email support after your documents are delivered.

WHAT KIND OF TIMELINE CAN I EXPECT FOR MY WRITING PROJECT?
The first draft of your document is typically delivered within 15+ business days from receipt of all necessary on-boarding items and completion of your Pre-Resume Session. Please be mindful of the jobs you target; revisions due to changes in the jobs you are targeting may result in additional fees. Changes due to new or additional information being provided after the first draft is delivered may result in additional fees.
Each subsequent document will be delivered approximately 5 business days after the previous document is finalized.
Together we will determine a mutually agreed upon delivery date(s) during your Pre-Resume Session. I reserve the right to extend the delivery date(s) during busy periods and unforeseen circumstances.
Your first round of resume revisions is due to me in writing via Word Track Changes (not Comments) within 7 days from receipt of your first draft. We will discuss your first round of revisions during the Post-Resume Session, which is to be scheduled within 7 days of receipt of the first draft of your resume. I reserve the right to limit or reject revisions that do not align with resume writing best practices and/or my industry insights and knowledge.
Your second round of resume revisions is due to me in writing via Word Track Changes (not Comments) within 7 days from receipt of your final draft. The second round of revisions will focus on proofreading the revisions made during the first 7 days; this is not a time to introduce new revisions or information.
Fourteen days from receipt of your first draft, your project will be considered final and complete; any additional revisions will be billed at my hourly rate.
Resumes receive up to two rounds of revisions. Cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, executive bios, and any other documents receive one round of revisions, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Revisions are to be delivered in Word Track Changes within 7 days of receipt. Any additional rounds of revisions will be billed at my hourly rate.
Failure to submit revisions within the listed timeframes will result in the project being considered finalized and no further work will be completed.
WHAT’S THE PROCESS LIKE TO WORK WITH YOU?
Prospective coaching clients typically begin with a free, no-obligation phone call. You can review my services and schedule a call here.
This phone call is an opportunity (1) for you to receive an overview of my process, (2) for me to learn about you, and (3) to answer any questions either of us have.
After our phone call, you will receive a summary of our agreed upon terms and an invoice. I will begin working on your project once I receive your full payment.
You will find that I don’t do cookie-cutter. I customize nearly everything about the experience based on you and what is best for your journey.
Writing projects are considered completed and no further work will be completed by me after 60 days from receipt of payment. Projects that take more than 60 days to complete may result in a restart fee ($300 per month or fraction thereof).
